In addition to our headquarters and Distribution Operations Center in La Crosse, Wis., LHI has several other offices strategically located to enable us to best meet the needs of our customers.
Chicago, Ill.
Our Bensenville, Ill. location, a suburb of Chicago, opened in September of 2004. It began as a 1400 square foot unit with just a handful of IT personnel. This was the location where our proprietary software, the MedNet system, was originally designed and built.
Detroit, Mich.
Located in Warren, Mich., a suburb of Detroit, our Michigan location opened in March of 2008. Our current staff consists of Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Behavioral Health Specialists. They, along with Dental Professionals and others, work on the Post-Deployment Health Reassessment and Periodic Health Assessment programs.
Atlanta, Ga.
Our contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta was established in November 2002. The initial CDC contracts supported the CDC Clinician Information Line and the Anthrax Vaccination Program, both instrumental in launching the CDC business for LHI. Today, the Atlanta location includes Epidemiologists, Microbiologists, Health Scientists, Preparedness Coordinators and other Public Health Professionals who work with a variety of centers including the Division of Health Quality and Promotion, the Division of Bacterial Diseases and the Division of Global Migration.
