LHI provides Periodic Health Assessments (PHA) for Reserve Component Forces, including Army Reserve, National Guard, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, totaling approximately 150,000 every year. These include a self health assessment, typically completed on-location on a laptop, as well as a 20 minute interview with a health care provider. In addition, a number of screenings are performed, including a vision test, blood pressure check, height, weight and more. When follow-up with an in-clinic provider is necessary, LHI coordinates appointments with a health care provider located within 50 miles of the Service member’s home zip code.
The PHA is conducted as part of the overall Reserve Health Readiness Program contract, enabling Service members to attain full medical readiness for deployment, if necessary. LHI takes great pride in serving our nation’s military by offering them the best in comprehensive health assessments, to ensure they are in optimal health for whatever duties they are called upon to perform.
